At least your just getting Snow. In Oklahoma we got 3 inches of ICE about 2 weeks ago . Powers been out in some parts of the state sibce then. Murdered all the trees in my yard and even took out th3e power at my job (Detention Center) for 2 days. I love winter weather but that was way too much for me.

It's snow NOW! Tomorrow it'll be a crust of ICE.... trees are down all over the place taking with it power lines and cable lines. We have lots of evergreen here and the weight of the snow just breaks the boughs and dumps them onto the power lines......

Baltimore has declared a state of emergency and ordered ALL vehicles OFF the roads.....except, of course, emergency ones. All the plows and snow clearing equipment has been stopped until the wind abates because visibility has diminished to less than 1/4 mile. Some people have been without power for over a week now. I am lucky...we have underground utilities.

All the roads are "passable" to clear. Now what's gonna happen Mon/Tues? Noone wants to predict what we'll get! Huge mounds of ice/snow piled everywhere now! No place left to put this stuff....

"Holy thread revival!"

Well, I hear there's another blizzard coming, and starting a new thread about is sooo much work.

Regardless, I want updates. I don't have nearly enough snow where I am... I hope Joe has enough Vodka, and I hope Mike P has studded tires on his cop-o-cycle.
