Anti theft Light - Help Please

I just noticed than when I start the car, the anti-theft light remains light for about one minute. The door ajar switches are fine. Light always used to go off after about three seconds when car started. Alarm still workd fine, blinks when activated etc. Is this prolonged on a symton or fault code of some kind?

Are you using the original key to start car or are you using the VALET key?

Mine does the same thing. It didn't, then one day it started doing that after I saw it flash while I was driving. That was about a year ago. No troubles.

It is one of the two original keys. However, now that you mention it I did recently change to using this key and fob because battery finally died on the other one. I will try the first key again.
