Anyone near I-5, I-40, and I-44 please post here

On Monday Jan. 17th I will be picking up a Mark VIII in San Jose and driving it back to Columbus. I don't expect any problems, but the car was in an accident and I need to have plans in the works if something happens. If you live along any of these stretches of highway, please post here as we will be checking the board regularly before we leave and on our way back. I appreciate the help, and will REALLY appreciate it if we run into car troubles. Thanks in advance.

I'm nowhere near, but good luck man. I had no problems bringing my new mark home couple weeks ago, I did some thorough checking though. We had a full set of tools, stands, jacks and what not in the trunk.

When you get it home, let me know if you need any parts ...

Things fell through. We were having problems getting the car started, narrowed the problem down to the starter and had to give up on the project. A lot of variables in there. If anyone is near San Jose and wants a Mark VIII for parts, Mark has one in front of his house that needs to go away fairly quickly. He needs around $900 for it. That is an extremely fair price and comes with a brand new battery. I have the receipt for the warranty as well. Contact myself or Mark for info, PM me for more information. I am back in OH.

Thats too bad Eli...but tell us, once you saw the car, were you almost glad you didnt have to drive it?

Also, was it as bad as you expected? or worse?

Max needs some parts ASAP...and this might be his best option so far... he needs right rear suspension from his "tank slap" the other day.

Let him(Max) know if this car would make a good candidate for a rear carrier swap.
