i dont think i got your message unless you where asking about a blower as well. no you dont need a steering nuckle i designed them to fit around it. i will have pictures later to day or tomarrow. i recomend that when any one does the headers that they check or buy new engine mounts at the same time and steering nuckle. if they are bad you should change them while you are there. you need to extend you o2 harness and should change them as well if they are bad. you will also need new gaskets unless you want to use the old ones.

Are these more difficult to install then the kooks headers? I am asking in terms of labor charges for somebody to put them in?

Supercoupe Performance, the company that sells the Kooks headers, also sells oxygen sensors with extended harnesses that may work?

if you buy new o2 sensors i will extend them for free. i placed the 02 in a spot that does not need that much extra lenght. also the headers are the same labor wise to install them. the same amount of time. i will install them for around 450 that is what most places will charge may be a little more depending on hourly rate. 60 to 65 a hour for 8 hours.

does anyone know of someone who will install headers on our cars in the tri-state area. I know Geno's guy Phil who has done alot of work on my car and is very good but the last I heard he was charging like $600-$800 depending on how long it took him. I can handle $450. just wondering if anyone knew anyone around here(jersey) who will do it cheaper.

Dennis - I'm in Jersey too...........if you find anybody in Jersey that will put them in for $450 let me know!! I really don't want to spend more on the install than for the actual mod?!

Dan, I'm not trying to pick a fight but why do you not give credit where credit is do.Joe designed and built those headers and you are having them copied by your boy with the tubing bender.
Sorry, it just gets under my skin a little.

dont worry dude. i took what joe sent me and changed it till it fit perfect from what he did and my headers dont look that alike. no i did not use my freinds bender to do them but hey that is ok. it took me three or four versions changed from what joe gave me to work the way i wanted them to be.

well the uncoated ones are a little cheaper.

So that price is for the coated headers? Is it Jet-hot or regular ceramic coating. Is there much of a difference between the two coatings?

the price on the site is for jet-hot coating and it is less for uncoated headers which come with just high temp paint on them.

Does anybody have any pics from underneath the car with the headers installed? I'm trying to see how much clearance I would have to the ground. My car is lowered about as much as Lowslungmark's car and I want to see if these would work for me.

i know they are high because i put my old exhaust on today and on my old car it was at the same leval as the stock exhaust, now when i put the exhaust on i had to angle the pipes up. will take some pictures from the side on the ground.
