You are invited to the July 2014 Atlanta Mark's BBQ at my house in Kennesaw.


The open dates I have for the BBQ are:


Saturday, July 5
Saturday, July 19
Saturday, July 26


If you plan to attend, and have a conflict with any of the dates listed, let me know so we can narrow it down to one these three days lol. :)


If you would like to contribute something to the BBQ, you are more than welcome to bring whatever you like. We can start a list if necessary.


Please post if you are attending, and a total headcount you will be bringing. I will PM you my address if you need it.

I'd sure like to come to this! Looking at my schedule, July 5th would be a definite no. I'll be working Friday through Monday night.

I don't know for sure that I'd be able to go, but if you were to have it on the 19th or the 26th, it would be much more likely that I'd be able to attend.

If so, I think it would probably just be me by myself. My wife just had a baby a couple weeks ago, and I don't know if she'd be willing to go out of town that far with the newborn and our 3-year old. I'll talk with her about it and see what she thinks.

Congratulations! Hope Mom and Baby are doing well! :)

The availability tally so far, has the 19th or 26th netting the highest attendance.

I will give it few more days for people to chime in before locking in a date.

Hopefully you can bring your Mark, but no problem if you don't. :) There will be a couple guys here without Mark's. Their Mark's are long gone, but continue to be active in the Mark VIII community.

Well Mike, I'm really sorry, but I think I'm going to have to cancel on you. We've been having a lot of trouble lately with our 2 mo. old AND our 3 yr. old. I think if I were to leave my wife alone for a whole day (nearly 4 hrs to drive to your place--8 hrs of driving), not for work, she'd want to kill me.

I was really hoping I'd be able to come to this one, but I just shouldn't if I want to maintain some semblance of a sane household. :(

Maybe next time...

I might be able to make it out there. I'm in Missouri at the moment. Not sure when I'm heading down exactly, but should be around that date.

Sorry to hear you can't make it. I hope your baby's troubles get better real soon. Our next get together is the Southern Super Heavy Shootout at Atlanta Dragway on Saturday, November 1 if your interested.

The time for the party will be 12pm noon, or anytime thereafter for those planning to attend. I'll fire up the grill when people get hungry. :)
