Attending Carlisle 2015?

Less than 2 months remain before the annual Ford Nationals on June 5th through June 7th.

I have registered 2 vehicles and made arrangements for the club Tent.

This is an official call out for everyone to attend one of the greatest Ford shows on the east coast which has become an annual meet for many of us.

The entire family will enjoy the largest and most thrilling all-Ford event in the world. Ford, Mercury and Lincoln fans will have a showcase of over 2,800 vehicles to check out on the National Parts Depot showfield. During this event, you will enjoy great indoor displays of concepts, customs and historically-significant cars and trucks; test drives by Ford Motor Company, a burnout competition, activities for the kids, industry guests, giveaways, autocross for all skill levels and club gatherings. The excitement continues with a shopping experience you won’t soon forget as part of the enormous swap meet, car corral and the Manufacturers Midway for the best in parts buying.

New to this event is Early-Bird Thursday. By attending on Thursday, anyone interested in looking for a deal as part of the swap meet or car corral can get a jump on those who may not arrive until Friday or later. Admission costs apply for Thursday, however; there is no charge for parking in Carlisle owned and operated lots.

Believe it or not, this was on my "to-do" list for today. Get myself registered, /and/ get some conversation going. JP, you've beaten me to the punch, and I thank you for it.

Now. Time to make good on my plans..

Yes, I'll be attending again this year, it's always a great time!

We need to try to get more Lincoln people than last year. If anyone from SE Michigan needs some help getting there, let me know, maybe I can help.

I too, would love to see more of us out there.

If you're on the fence, say something. We'll get you out there. This show is /always/ a good time.

Brad and I are coming. I talked to a local guy that's a new Mark owner late last summer about Carlisle, and he sounded interested. I may need to send him a reminder :D

Boom. Registered. $49.50
That is damn steep. I usually hit the import show and it's just $20 which is still pretty high when a regular car show entry anywhere in the country is $10 to $15. I went a few years ago at the last minute and they charged $75. Oh well.

It's a 3 day event, far from a regular car show. At $49.50 for early registration, that's $16.50 a day. Considering that off-grounds parking is $5, that equates to $11.50 to park on the showfield. ;)

Got my room booked and plans made today. Whats next ?
Cool! :)

The hard part is done. Now you recruit others to join the fun! :D

Where are you staying? What vehicle are you bringing? When are you coming?

A few of us arrive Thursday and begin the festivities early at the Comfort Suites and a local bar & grill. We usually are pretty thirsty after the long drive. LOL
