No, he doesn't do Star Wars, he does anime, I was the big Star Wars geek, but without a real working lightsaber, well, I just can't get into it. My friend's husband, however... I have to find out more and give him the link.

But they do go to conventions in Detroit, Milwaukee and in the Chicago area. He usually makes props for others now with his g/f doing the sewing of costumes. Not sure if he's still making swords.

Too bad I don't think I have a pic of him in his full armor suit. It was awesome, he did get the huge sheets of carbon fiber, IIRC to make it, and then met the creator of the character who signed it for him.

I would LOVE to have a Carbon fiber stormtrooper kit. It would be so much lighter then the ABS we commonly use. Make it a lot easier to troop in for sure. Especially for those of us with disabilities.

So, my forum is about to be a big time player in the Star Wars props world. We have landed some of the worlds top props builders and an amazing costume designer not to mention our lightsaber builders. We are also making a professional website and will get a top 10 spot on Google search.
That is why I have not been here as much. I am trying to get everything organized. The forum is going stronger then ever and picking up new members everyday. It cool but a lot of work too!
Anywho, always cool to meet another Star Wars fan. Star Wars fans are like non other. Some of the coolest people I know are Star Wars geeks. :thumbsup:

Those are all his pics that he took, but I don't see a pic of him in there. He used to dress up more, now I think he spends more time taking pics, hoping he'll get some paid gigs . I just e-mailed him asking if he still has a pic somewhere of his costume. I'll post it if we can find it.

Cool if you can find a pic or 2. If he ever comes down to Indy for a show he should look me up. I'll probably be there trooping with the 501st or there as Scorpion.
