Bullit Wheels?

Best offset range would be 30-36mm. As you get close to 36mm offset, the rim lip gets too close to the spindle, and on some marks it is known to rub.

You may want to go with more offset than 36 on a 9" wheel. My 8.5" wheels with a 43mm offset just barely tuck 245s when dumped. Since a 9" wheel will be sitting 1/4" further out, I would definitely try to get as much offset as possible as insurance against rubbing.

I know people have rubbing issues with 18x9s and 35mm offset, but a lot will depend on your tire selection, how low the car sits, and whether or not the air suspension is functioning properly.

18x9" Dante Bullit replicas, 255/40 ZR18 Rubber with a 30 mm offset. Yes they did rub, but my car sits LOW and I just bought a cheap wooden bat and worked on the lips for about 30 minutes and now they fit well.

Compared to the 315 tire on the Ford GT
