Car dies when it shifts

So another problem but this time its weird

I was driving and when i got to 3rd gear the car stalled for a second and then again when i went into overdrive. Thought at first it was maybe just the gas shifting in the tank or the occasional oddity that means nothing

Tried getting up to 50 and again it died between shifts but this time the rpms only fell to 1k.

Trannys rebuilt so im not sure here


Update:
After stuttering my way home I got codes P0102 and P1100, those are MAF codes but I don't know if i'm cleaning it or replacing it.

System has been mostly replaced and is good

Upon further inspection it turns out someone stole my maf

Dont know how this happened but the MAF piece became disconnected and decided to locate itself in the hole under the air box
