Did anyone take notice that there is a cruise through Carlisle this year at Ford? This is like the Corvette cruise. Cost $15 and is limited to 400 cars. Perhaps we should make arrangements as a group?

i vote we just cruise and everyone saves $15. we just have to avoid carlisle, dang laws!

When is this cruise?

I usually get there Friday evening, just in time for beer and dinner. Then on Saturday after the show, it's time for beer and dinner.:D

And after driving 8 hours to Carlisle, I don't think I'll be looking for a cruise.:)

2011 Ford Parade and Street Party to Hit Downtown Carlisle

400 Autos to be Showcased in this Inaugural Event


Carlisle Events and the Downtown Carlisle Association are proud to announce the FIRST EVER Ford Parade and Street Party, Saturday, June 4th at 6:45 p.m.

Automotive enthusiasts, specifically those interested in the FOMOCO brands, will see a wide array of cars showcased during the Carlisle Ford Nationals as part of the Parade and Street Party, held in downtown Carlisle.

The parade field is limited to only 400 Ford, Lincoln and/or Mercury vehicles. In addition, pre-registration is required. Click the registration link below to guarantee your spot in this historical event. Registration is $10 per vehicle (through April 30th) or $15 per vehicle (beginning May 1st).

Leading the parade will be a select group of Ford officials showing off some of their hot new products! Following the Ford team are members of Team Shelby supported by Shelby American. In addition to the parade, spectators will enjoy specialty vehicles such as race cars and a wide variety of food, fanfare and quality live entertainment. Be sure to join us as we kick-off another great activity during the Carlisle Ford Nationals.

I know that for Corvette the hotel takes reservations for the patio so that should be arranged for.

With "LOD" Since 1997
Better get back to the hotel in advance of the parade since the streets will be blocked off. I don’t remember if there was back street to get in to the hotel parking deck. For the corvette one we could park across the whole street like that until around 10:00 pm. However most cars are gone well before that and the street is opend up well before that.
