We've been swapping these intakes for over 10 years now. There is so much info out there, one should be able to do it eyes closed

Just bolt the damn thing on. It's not rocket science.

Oops!

That is made for the '96-'98 Cobra. It will bolt up, but you won't be able to connect it to the stock airbox.

What you need is either the stock or aftermarket tube for a '03-'04 Cobra.

i finally found one at a good price and jumped on it! now i just need to get a few more parts lined up and i should be good to go.

You can use the stock air box with a Cobra intake.
I used the Cobra intake tube and hooked it up to a rubber sewer coupling.
