Picked up an assortment of items for my 98 LSC (silver frost) for the spring time.

Man, it'd kill be to be sitting on that much gear until spring. Lots of people have done double-DIN decks with great results. It is on my own "to-do" list as well. You shouldn't have any fitment issues.

What are you doing for a sub enclosure?

Between the system, my SCP chip and X-pipe I have here too, it's driving me nuts lmao. For a sub encloser, I have an old box and Fusion 12" kicking around. Might try to tear the sub out and find out if the new one will work. Otherwise I'll have to look into other options

As Tixer said, the double din shouldn't be an issue. Plenty of us have done it, just take your time cutting.

The best DD dash kit is the Metra 95-5026. Requires a little trimming ( Round off top corners and trim off 2 tabs) but it is by far one of the best options for us. Make sure you have the crossbar portion on the bottom and not the top or else the dash bezel won't sit flush.
