That's the way the Carlisle folks used to classify stock vs. modified.I thought you were allowed 3 modifications for stock? Small things like plugs and wires don't count.
It gets to be a gray area if you use factory parts, like using factory rims, sun visors, etc, don't necessarily count as mods. Maybe not parts from the same year but the same generation anyway so still factory. If in doubt just go in the modified since there is a lot going on with converting to a rag top, but I don't think it will make much difference with one category anyway.I'm not worried about taking a trophy or award from anyone, I just want to be clear what my car should should be. Just because my car is a convertible doesn't mean I'll win anything anyway, especially against a car like Tony's or someone else's gen 1 or 2. There might even be other convertibles?

I always try to keep my cars stock, but this one might end up over 3 mods anyway, I'm thinking about HID lights, and the seats are the 94's with the continental stars (the 93 didn't have those). Add to that the 94 (only) double sun visors and I'm over 3 mods if we did consider the convertible one mod.
We need this massive influx you speak of.:thumbsup:That's the way the Carlisle folks used to classify stock vs. modified.
Unless there is a massive influx of Mark VIII's preregistering, there is only one Mark VIII class.
