Cooling Fan Not Running in 97 LSC

With the AC set to MAX, there is 11.5V at the fan connector - but the fan doesn't turn. When I disconnect the harness and put battery to the fan, it runs fine. Battery was 12.8V at that moment. Can anyone guide me? Thanks in advance.

The VCRM is probably bad. Voltage is not the determining factor, it is the amperage.

Did you try wiggling the connection. we had a intermittent fan problem due to the connection going bad. we ended up scrapping the connector and soldering it.

Glad you found a used one. To send them out for repair/ rebuild is like $250.

Yep, sometimes best to replace the unit if all other troubleshooting has failed.
