Digital Battery Terminal

Anybody try these yet? 3 wires and no paperwork. Blk=ground, red? Blue has tag that says remote turn on? Only way to light it up, is to put red, and blue to +12v. blk to gnd.
I come up with, red and blue to +12v, and a switch between black, and ground. I hate to let the smoke out of new stuff. Thanks

Seems to work and accurate. No more hauling around the meter. Using power supply on the bench= high voltage

Laurie out west has it. Figured the wiring, switch the blue wire

How does the build quality look? And the quality of the electrical connections?

Looks like good quality. 5 mm allen screw to tighten to post. Bare wire or with terminal ends can be used, and tighten with phillips, 12 mm wrench/socket, and 5mm allen wrench. Many options, and a tinted plastic cover.

I had an older model that just had a single ground wire. It lasted a year or two.

The Stinger brand terminals were my favorite for a while but the tiny screws for the terminal clamp tend to strip out.

I'm going to put a momentary push switch, so the meter will only work when I want it to. Easy way to see if alt is doing it's job. All the screws to be of good quality, but I'll know more when I install them
