To go along with the last post. Im wanting both of the cars to be complete but only keep one. Do finish repairing the Ivory one that has many issues and 164k miles and sell the black one OR use the Ivory one to repair the body of the black LSC the has 23895 miles and part out the rest of the Ivory. cant decide...thanks for any input

just for more info on what im dealing with. one of my Mk VIIIs is Ivory or pearl or champagne whatever you call the paint that has 164k miles on it has had multiple repairs and replacement parts put in and it still needs many more parts. its a 1997 base model with an upgraded stereo and regular suspension. The black one is a 98 LSC with every possible option nearly in new condition like its been in a time capsule but it was in a small accident. Im leaning toward parting out the Ivory one. im unable to post pictures or i would.

No Brainer, keep the low mileage 98 LSC. What kind of damage does it have? I think after 5 posts you can do pics.

What Tony said. Tentatively, at least. My first though was going to be "how bad is the damage?"

Also, Welcome!

im going to swap the ivory front minus the right fender and right headlight and bumper and grill to the black one and since the time that I posted Ive had many offers for the black one. after hearing some of these offers which put a smile on my face Im going to keep it for awhile but if someone makes an amazing offer I might do it but right now I just want fixed. it needs: most of the front end, belt, front rotors and pads, and a oil change everything else is amazing. some minor scuffs to the paint no big deal. Thanks you guys for the input

the black one for sure will be easier to fix. the ivory one has so many worn out parts and im on year 3 of constant searching for parts.
