Don't speed

I know and understand this isnt the best topic but early this morning i was heading into school, noticed my friend and i got in there at the same time waved at her and went to my normal space, as i was walking into class i heard some tires squeal and assumed that it was the usual truck kids trying to do some burnouts. Turns out the friend that i had just saw got hit by someone speeding. Dont know the exact speed but it looked like they were going around 35 (its 20 through here). I dont know why they didnt stop or not see her but she wasnt able to move and was crying pretty loudly. Ambulance came and now shes going into surgery

Worst part is that the driver said she jumped in front of the car on purpose

Keep a close eye on your friend, James. She'll need your help and support, for sure. The Hospital can only fix the physical damage.

Let insurance figure out the rest, but "never trust the other guy" is key. Don't be surprised if you have to make a statement as well.

Your friend has my best wishes (and no doubt all of ours.)

I also wish her good luck.

The title of this thread really should be Don't Text While Driving.

I think texters behind the wheel, are worse than a drunk driver, at least the drunk is trying to drive. Both are a bad bad thing on the road.

Cell phones are the biggest issue people are shopping ,texting and watching videos while driving. James I hope your friend is doing well.
