Last year I ran Speedstars up front with 245s and hoosiers out back on stock 16s. On this new combo, the rear wheel combo kills it for huge weight savings. My rears are now 47# per side rather than the 33.4#. Up front, I lost a bit more though. I can't remember the calculations for up front. I seem to recall only a 14# weight loss with the new combo, but weight has shifted to the rear. I don't know if this is going to help me or not because my gear has also been bumped back to a 3.90. On the 26s last year my gear was around 4.17 Either way, the car is going to drop ETs. How much I am leaving on the table...I don't know.
