drive shaft update

i have a crownvic police drive shaft that i was considering having cut to use on my mark8. does anyone know what the specs?

Unless it is a 99/2000 AMMX shaft, I am not sure it is any better than the Mark VIII aluminum shaft, not sure what the gain would be.

CVPI shaft is 3 inches shorter than Mark VIII, civilian steel one is 2 inches shorter that a Mark VIII.
