I don't have any pictures but this is the thing that almost hits the crankshaft pulley mounted on a tube that connects to the right and left manifolds. What the hell is its purpose and is it necessary?
While installing the new Steeda pulley I had to remove the valve. The valve itself is aluminum and the tubing it is connected to is stainless. This mixture of metals is a no no and hence the "meshing" of the two parts together resulting in the threads of the valve breaking off into the tubing. Luckily I was able to completely salvage the tubing and it is currently capped off and the two vacum hoses going to it are plugged.
The car runs perfect without it and I haven't thrown any codes.
BTW I love the pulley!
