Front End Shake

I have a font end shake on my daily driver. The car is a 2000 Saturn SL1 with around 207K on the clock. My tires are new and were recently re-balanced, ball joints and tie rods have also been replaced with in the past year.

When I get above 65 mph the vibration starts and stops when I hit 80 mph. What am I missing here? I know this isn't as plush as a Lincoln or very young but it would be nice too have a smoother car for every day use. I just don't want to throw random parts at it.

Thinking maybe bearings even though last time it was in the air I gave it a good shake down and the wheels where solid in every direction.

I'd jack up the front end and spin the tires to look for a bad belt in a tire. If there's a problem you'll see the tread move side to side as it's spinning. Balancing can't correct for this, and I've had new tires that did this.

I'd vote tires as well.

Also - take a good look at the sway bar. The bars on those are "structural," in that they keep the wheels in alignment. the upper and lower control arms only attach to the frame and knuckle in one place each, and the bar functions as the third part of the triangle.

to top that off, the bar is just a hollow pipe with a stud crimped into each end. I've seen them come apart before..
