Fun Ford Weekend Aug 22

Fun Ford Weekend at New England Dragway is coming up. Sunday August 22 is the day for the car show when we'll be there. It's always a good time with a lot to see. There'll be racing too for anyone who's interested either to enter or watch with about every Ford you can think of going down the track as well as some pro-built 7 second cars.

I've found the best way to get there is going north on 93.
It opens early and goes all day so show up any time.

Fun Ford weekend Ruled!!!

We had an awe inspiring 2 MK8s!!! Myself and Jason...

Luckily we had the infamous Mark McCormack and the TCCOA to hang out with. Sadly, there was no beer, or other types of libations, so I did my best to maintain my sanity throughout the afternoon.

Sorry that more people didn't show up, it really was quite a good time!

I showed mine, but no, no one won anything. Not one of the t-birds or cougars either. This is a wildly Mustang-biased show. Almost no other fords ever win nor do any mercurys or lincolns ever win. If Mark's Batmobile can get something then forget it. But hey whatever, it was fun anyway. A number of the drag racing cars wrecked or blew up and there was plenty of show cars to see.
