Gen 1 factory HID ballast mounting points

Hello!

Where is the factory Gen 1 HID ballast mounted, does it use the same bracket as Gen 2? I can't find any info online, that would be great if someone may have a photo.

Gen 1 didn't have HID's as stock headlights....OH, wait, I forgot about the 96. I believe they may have been an option. Someone here should know.

Some of the late year 1996 LSC did get HIDs, the first north american production car to get them.

Tony should know where to mount the ballast.

I added OEM's to my 94, and I mounted the ballast behind the grill. I painted them black. Made some brackets out of scrap. You can't tell they are there, and they get lots of cool air
