WTB: Gen 1 Front Cornering Lights

I looked quick and saw those and said hell, ill buy your old ones if those are bad for you. Those are in prime condition for me. Then finished reading the post.
I got two 1/2 sets. Needing a Nice set as well. The real problem is getting some with good lenses. Sending the plastic chrome piece out for rechroming isnt tough, but finding good clean/clear non sun stressed cracked lenses is tough. Most ive come across at slavage yards have those sun cracks in lense, broken rear screw tab, broken chrome strip mounting, and or the funky green/black mold growing behind the lense.

The lens crazing is something I would like to avoid, but I know that is near impossible. The biggest concern is getting a set with chrome that isn't pitting or corroding away. If the chrome is scuffed up or even some small dings that isn't a problem. They are going to be painted, but if the base metal is oxidizing it is just going to go to hell in a year or so.

Good luck finding one in that shape, I have a few but they all need restoring. I have an ongoing side project where I am putting a clear lens on and getting it re-chromed but it’s on the back burner with allot of other stuff. Just keep your eyes open in a yard; they usually get snatched up fairly quick.
I've been trying to convince him a clean gen 2 would be a good move...I have few lenses in good shape, and one complete driver's side. The trim is good, although lose. to properly paint it it should be removed anyway. Gary can have it when and if he makes it out this way
Better yet, convince him to get a G2 finally.

I think he was concerned about have both cars functional without going over budget and also that it didn't look to be an LSC. Was it the cordovan or toreador red?

It's The Cordovan, and will be LSC, or JSC
