Just pasted 10 years ownership of my Mark VIII. Best car I've ever owned. In another 5 years it can be considered a "Classic Car", where you can get a plate that indicates such.
I checked out the PA definition and figured I list it here:
A “Classic Motor Vehicle” – is a motor vehicle, but not a reproduction thereof, manufactured at least 15 years prior to the current year which has been maintained in or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformity with manufacturer specifications and appearance.
PA rules for classic plates do not permit operation for general daily transportation. Permitted use is limited to participation in club activities, exhibits, tours, parades, occasional transportation and similar uses.” Occasional transportation and similar uses is defined as one day a week.
Classic vehicles are subject to vehicle safety inspection annually. Classic vehicles are not subject to emissions inspection.
Looks like the exhaust system could be open for modification at that time, if it's a "classic".
