Giants WIN!

What a game!!! I am not a fan of the Giants or the Patriots. I'm from GA originally so I am and have always been a Falcons fan. They got to the playoffs again but still have a lot of work to do before we are looking at a Superbowl.

So the game was great!!! I thought though that the Patriots were going to make a big come back after the Giants scored. Even though they did hold the lead for a while I just thought they would pull it off. The commentators did too. Heck , I think the Giants did as well. You could tell they did by that last touchdown. They really thought that they screwed up.
Anywho, what a game!!! :thumbsup:

There were only a few good commercials though. What happened to the 80's when the Superbowl commercials were really cool. I guess the 2 million dollar price tag puts a damper on some of that.

I was completely confused by that "fall in" touchdown. I'm assuming he was trying to put a knee down just to stop the clock? Then get a touch down or field goal after running the clock down to prevent the other team from having enough time to score? Instead he fell off balance and fell in? (This was the only game of the season I watched....)

Yeah, that was funny to watch! They thought they really screwed up by making that touchdown and giving the Pats. that much time on the clock. I think they thought to highly of the Pats.
I was happy for them (no matter how goofy it looked) for getting the TD.

What confused me the most was that The announcers said NE wanted to give them the TD. Just weird....

Correct Jesse, NE wanted the ball back to get on down the field. If they could have gotten a TD, they would have won......

That is really putting a LOT of faith in your team to let another team score just so you can have the ball with what was is like just over 50 seconds. I thought it was a very dumb move considering how much fight the Giants had. I think it was a horrible call for the Pats. to make with so little time and a team that was playing as hard as the Giants were. Very goofy looking TD though!
