I went around town looking for the best price and a shop to do 2.5 inch pipes, I was quoted around 350 for cat back 2.25 duals, then I my friend took me to a place where he got his, they charged me 120 for 2.25 duals, I wanted and told them 2.5 but I wanted flanges, in spots were he said would be to tight to do 2.5 so I just went with 2.25 all the way back, right now Im going back next week for and x pipe and magnaflow mufflers, because as of now I dont have mufflers, third cat, or resonator. and it is hella loud. it sounds good at idle and cruising, but when it go past 1700 rpm it sounds like a harley.

hate to break it to you... but you just paid for what you already pretty much have. Stock is 2.255 in
[/div]

Yeah, but NOT true dual exhaust.

So far, I believe I lost low end, but at cruising speed it takes off a little better and pulls stronger

The X pipe will help while free flowing mufflers will not. Some have had good results with the MagnaFlow dual-in dual-out resonator - essentially an X pipe.

120 isn't bad, even if it is just 2.25.

The stock pipe is like one single 2.25 going all the way back.

I really wanted 2.5 but for the price hell, If I get a supercharger a will go back and have them do 2.5, but for 120 and to do flanges, I say I still got a good price. So do you think I should get turbo mufflers instead of straight through.

You're in the ideal position to try the X pipe without any mufflers. If you think you gained your low end back with just the X pipe at that time and it's still too loud for you, go with the straight through free flowing mufflers like the DynoMax UltraFlows. If you don't think you've regained any low end torque with the X pipe and it's still too loud, go with some chambered mufflers like the DynoMax SuperTurbos. IMHO of course. :)

Ya, Its still very anoying sound its not the loudness but the weird harley davison bike sound, maybe the x pipe will fix it.
