I had both at different times. My ending on it is for stock or low modified cars like chip only, it was better with H pipe driving and low end. For heavily modified cars, definitely the X pipe, flows higher. Seems backwards, but that's how it worked out for me. With the X pipe with no mods i actually lost bottom end on stock Mark VIII motor seat of the pants feel due to no back pressure. But with the cobra motor and supercharger, car loved the less restriction (the X pipe).
