I have been a registered user since 2008 and just haven't been around.
Name is Tom, from Rochester,NH. I am also the new site Admin on The Lincoln Mark VII Club.
Some of you might know me from there as tomnh.:wave::wave:

The Cars:
2 weeks ago I bought the rare 1989 Mark VII LSC Convertible. It has sat in a garage for over 6 years with very little driving. 89K on it. I am in process of restoring it while driving it.
I have most of the LSC restored next will be the convertible part. You will be able to see it at Carlisle in a couple of weeks.
My other car is a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC converted to 93 cobra specs and a bit better too. Some of you have seen the Red Monster. 289 HP on the dyno and with the changes over the winter, I expect over 330 next tune.

I hope to meet some of you at Carlisle. I will be the old fat man with a Lincoln hat, running around on a red h/c scooter.

Yo Tom :D

For the record, it was such a good meet, I still haven't made it back to my house yet... :D

Thanks for the welcome.

Meeting Joe yesterday was great. Pretty red 8. ;)

I wish more of you would come to our monthly lunch cruise. You are all invited. The New England chapter of the Mark VII holds it meet/cruise on the second Saturday of every month. I for one, would love to go to one of yours.
I just paid for my membership here. :wink2-green and expect to poke around here a lot.

Dirty Deeds, My red VII is still not on the road, Sandy the Vert is still under renovation as it sat for over 6 years and we know what happens to a sitting mark
It won't be pretty for Carlisle, but it will be functional.

Thanks again for the warm welcome

Yes... if only we managed to get off our MK8 driving butts and do things... :D

We have the same problems Joe. The distance for most members is about an hours drive to the Texas Roadhouse. I am hoping that some more of the Mark VII Club in New England would show up.

If I may Joe, I'd suggest that you set up your cruise to merge with ours. I would love to see the parking lot full of VIIs and VIIIs for people to drool over. Next Lunch is the 2nd Saturday in July.
