I've got a 97 mkviii with 30k and one of my low beams just burnt out. Stores don't carry them anymore, is there any kit I could buy that would still have hids?

You can get a used bulb off of ebay or do a search here about the kits and custom made adapter.

Buy an e bay kit they last a couple of years and are brighter IMHO.
There's a guy Jay that sells adapters on here and e bay.
Actually he used to sell a complete kit.
for around the same price you would pay for a used bulb.

Is the conversion throwing any error in the System Check? I've installed HID ballasts and new bulbs but now getting "Check Headlights" ore something like this and auto lamp on is no longer working. I can manually switch them on and they are working fine. Anything else I have to take care of?

... I solved it! I've installed different ballasts and now it works. Even the light is much brighter. Schould not use the rubbish cheap parts from somewhere in the world. Also polished the lenses and now it look (nearly) like new! :)

HELP! My '98 MK VIII HID's are out! Please send me any info you have on "RELIABLE" conversion kits. So far I have tried 2 and neither one worked more than a month!!

Hi, I am new here and have a 1998 Mark VII LSC. I got the notification on the dash to check the headlights and my passenger side low beam is kinda a low glow. I guess I need one of your conversions.........whats your price and how what all does it entail.
