HID headlights

can anyone tell me for sure ...from what I am told ALL 97/98 Mark 8's have HID low beams....is this correct. someone on E-Bay is selling a headlight assembly saying it is hallogen

the HID were discontinued so there is retro housing that ford came out with that takes a standard halogen bulb.

I don't think ford sells the halogen housing anymore but it was available. If you are worried about HID bulb availability Doug (DLF) sellls a HID adapter that allows you to use a diferent HID bulb in stock housings.

Yup, I have 2 sets of Halogen headlamps sitting in my garage right now. One of the sets has never been installed. The other is nearly new.
