HID Mod

Has anyone seen the HID mods that have popped up on ebay? They are selling anywhere from about 50 bucks to 150, including 2 bulbs 2 ballasts, and the appropriate wiring?

You know the addage...."if it seems to good to be true it probably is"

I sent them the info on my car, so i will see, and post their reply here.

Just wondering if anyone else spotted this.

I put some aftermarket HID's in my 98. They work OK, but I do have trouble with one igniting every once in a while, I'm going to upgrade my wiring to the ballast as soon as I get a chance.

I don't want to put relays in if I don't have to, because the check headlight warning still works OK.

I did a kit also, same problem that Bill has. You just turn them off and back on and they will both light.

I got them and they are fantastic! I can see at night now! Very easy to install as well.

bill, connect an extra ground wire to the ballast itself, using one of the screws on the ballast case, and then ground it to the radiator core support. i found that an extra ground stops this, i had it happen to 3 of the after market kits i have used. fixed it everytime.
