Okay, how do I go about this? I have tried a few different approaches, but I am getting nowhere. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

The passenger side is likely easy, the driver's side is the problem due to it's location. I just cut the driver's side off with a one sided hacksaw handle, broke it off at the hex, then put a short 6 point socket on it. In my case, the O2 sensor deep socket was a joke, broke it first try. You can wail on the short 6 point socket with a properly placed 1/2" drive ratchet by prying on the catalytic. Remember to put anti-seize compound on the threads before installing the new ones. The EGR threaded into the driver's side catalytic is the MoFo.

Okay, thanks everybody. Mark, that is brilliant, you are the man. The problem I was having was that with the yniversals in such a tight spot, there is NO leverage. Thanks.
