How do you recruit new members?

With "LOD" Since 1997
That is one way, you can just make up a flyer or biz card and leave them on cars. An other is to mention the club on other car related websites. That is how most find the club, through the Internet.

Yeah, I have actually waited by people's cars for them to come out of a store. I have actually talked to 5 people, face to face, not a one of them have shown up here yet...

Yeah, I waited for a while at K-mart, so i just decided to leave a note.

I've had at least three people join the club after leaving an invitation on their Mark or talking to them in a parking lot. Many LOD members don't post on the forums very often or ever. Someone you've invited may have joined the club and lurked the froum without you knowing it.
