You absolutely can't compare gas mileages unless you know exact details otherwise you won't get accurate results.

Here is what I get.
12-13.5mpg in town, my commute is 3 miles one way with 5 traffic lights.

22mpg highway at 70mph.

My car does have 3.73 gears.

Before the gears I got 27mpg freeway at 70mph.
In town was about the same.

I average about 15-16mpg.

In my '93 with 4.10 gears, I did 'average' 19 mpg mixed, 22.8 mpg highway. With the 4.30's, my highway mileage has dropped to 22.0 mpg.

I generally average about 19 mpg overall with a combination of city and heavily trafficed interstate. One the open highway, I usually get 24-26 mpg in my stock '95.

In my 1998 MarkVIII LSC, I get about 16mpg city, but up to 27mpg on the highway.

I got 19.5 without the chip. (On the Mark btw).

I avg 26.9-27.4 WITH a custom chip(tune) from Torrie at FPN.
without the chip, I was averaging 24-24.5

I do 70% freeway, 10% city, and 10% all-out high spirited driving. The other 10% is spent idling/warming up car/sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.

138k miles.

IDK I cant stay out of boost long enough to get better than 17.x If I stayed out of boost all the time for a week I am sure itsd be at elast 18 or 19.

I can get close to 18 on the highway if i baby it.

Towing the boat around town, the average will drop below 10.
