Hub centric rings

I need ot get a set of hub rings. Are aluminum ones a better choice than plastic?

If they have the size you need fine, but they didn't when I needed a set for a car on my lift.

Don't go by car brand/wheel brand or you will be doing it over and over again.

Break out the caliper, and make sure the rings fit the way they should.

I was wondering if I should trust a search like that. Do you think I should measure each wheel and hub?

I wouldn't go that far, especially with hubs, but it would be interesting to see each wheel measurements for the sake of QC

I think you should do a gauge R&R study as well to have confidence in your measurement repeatability.

Beerdog does stuff like this for a living. I'd trust him with a caliper.

Assuming he doesn't give us numbers in "twelfths of a hand" or something..

Ended u getting a set that fit for $5 from my local Discount Tire which is where the wheels came from. Gorilla brand.
