Hunting season

Not sure how many hunters we have here, but I wanted to share how I did this season with you and to hear/see how others made out. Here are a few pics of one of my takes this year. It is a 7 point whitetail buck that I took in my backyard. Shot it with a Remington 870 12ga with a rifled slug barrel. the shot was about 75 yards and a direct heart shot. He took 3 steps and dropped. Had to drag him 10 yards out of the woods and the drove the SUV in and loaded him up. I also took a spike with the bow and a Doe during gun season. This coming weekend is the last weekend of the gun season here I hope to add one more Doe to the list. You also get to see my ugly mug in these shots.

I wish they all looked like that one. Most of the ones around here are smaller than him. Dont mind the dates on the pics, I cannot seem to get the dates on the cam right and I cannot figure how to get them off either.

Nice buck! My brother bagged a doe last week, a little smaller than your buck. We're loaded with deer, despite a strong contingent of local hunters. You definately have too keep your eyes open for deer in the highways, around here.
