I got a new job

It's a great job. I've been looking for a job like this for a while.

It's with a company that makes noise and vibration measuring equipment. I'm an applications engineer and I'll be helping the customers select and use the equipment. It's one of the largest and best suppliers of this equipment in the world, yet it's still a family owned business.

Now for the neat stuff.
I found this photo in one of their older brochures. It makes sense that they would show the best equipment in the world with the best car in the world.:)

Have a great time with Larson Davis...I've used their SLM's for some time. Great equipment and a very good support section. ( At least the pics LOOK like it's LArson Davis)

Thanks guys.

You're right Bud. I'm in the Larson Davis division. I'm now part of that very good support section. Good people. The next time you call, ask for me.:)

I didn't want to mention the company because I scanned in one of their photos, but I don't think they would mind, as this is the catalog that they give out to everyone.

I would have to say given the vibration issues that plague the Mark VIII, I wonder just how good their equipment is, ;) j/k

Good luck with the new job.

I actually tested the Mark VIII using their equipment back in 1994. I was measuring the interior noise.

Believe me, this equipment will measure the noise and vibration on any vehicle, even ours.:)

As I am now retired, I doubt if I will have occation to call. However if you have anything to do with updating the AUDit™ software, let me know and I can give you LOTS of stuff I'd like to see done to it. Right now, it is not a great help for us that work in Occupational Health/OSHA audiometry and calibration of audiometers.
