I just recently bought a 97 Lincoln Mark VIII for, get this, $200 and I believe it is in pretty great condition. I had to replace the air shocks, I used a suspension delete kit. And I had to fix an oil leak but with my brothers shop we got it done right away. THe car looks great and I am getting more and more done to it everyday. Its a very nice and fast car. Here are some pics.

I know, I started to realize that after I bought it. But the seller didn't want to fix any of it and didn't see its potential

I didn't think there was a part anywhere on our Marks for less the $200 and you get a whole car. Must be Irish with that luck.:)

I am, thank you. I cherish the deal I got. My brother is an auto mechanic and he gets deals like this every now and then from people not wanting to spend the money on repairs. Of course I don't pay labor charges. Like I said it had some "issues" that were fixed for free for me, of course parts at cost. I want to make this car work for me, I love it so far. The first week I had it, I leaned back in the drivers seat and it broke, right along the rail that it moves back and forth on. Of course the plastic that had the controllers for the seat position was already hanging down. So I removed the seat and brought it to my firehouse and the mechanic welded it back together. ANd while it was off I completely repaired the seat controls housing. I have to say it went perfectly and I was glad it broke.
