I Just stepped on a V-8 Camaro?

I just KILLED a late model Camaro V-8 w/ Straight Pipes at three lights with less than full throttle. I had 3 or 4 carlengths at 45. It was no Z28 or anything, but I thought that they were faster than that, I thought that he would take me, I just have minimal mods for now. Is this normal, or did he have something wrong?

Well if it was a V8 you would have been eaten alive. If it was a V6 you would have barely gained anything on him by 45mph. So he was probably not racing you and or didn't know how to drive.

That's what I figured, but i'm pretty sure that it was an automatic Z28, I looked up some stuff on 'em. The 2002, which this wasn't, puts out 310 horses and a 14.?? quarter. It was older than that, and with a bad driver, they shouldn't be much. I'll try to find out exactly. Just wondered 'cuz I thought that the base 5.7 was more potent.

I ran a v6 camaro yesterday, in my blazer. He only beat me by half a car length, not enough to cut me off (which he was trying to do). If i was in my lincoln i'd have killed him.

The 96 and older LT1 V8 Camaros are not much if any faster than the Mark after they get rolling. The newerLS1 is another animal. We have no chance stock.
