Ice fishing and some drone shots

I know that lack of snow doesn't equate to warm temps, but I have never really seen one without the other, and would feed weird going out on ice from dirt. Used to love the frozen lake, trimmed 30 minutes off the time it took to get to the city, via snowmobile of course.

Awesome POV from the drone shots, I would love to get one that has fancy stuff like GPS, altitude hold, way point programming, etc. Manually flying one to get these types of shots always ends up with me on the roof of something or trying to knock it out of a tree.

Thanks guys.

We measured 7 inches of ice at the holes. It seemed to be a very soft ice, easy to cut the holes. Later in the day, if a quad , snowmobile, or even a group of people stayed in an area for a while, water would appear on the ice, it was sinking. I actually told the owners of this snowmobile rig to move, I think it would have broke through eventually.

The ice was great for the drone (no trees :)). I flew it harder and higher (330 feet) than I ever had before.

Here's that snowmobile rig sinking::eek-large:
