Thanks Guys! This has been on my wish list for some time now, and I am really looking forward to having some of Alexander's artwork in The Mark :) That, combined with John's front seats, is going to be awesome. lol This is going to be my new man cave.

Very nice choices, Mike. That wheel looks incredible. I'm very excited to see it in place.

You'll love the feel of that wheel, really makes it feel like a luxury car. I've got a CE wheel in the mark and the TC is a sig. I got to sit in another members car who had the seats redone, made me a bit giddy with how plush it was!

Very nice!!!

I received a package in the mail yesterday! Photo's do not come close to how amazing these look in person. No car events scheduled for this weekend, so the install is on! lol yep, gonna try this on my own... :eek-large: Any advice to performing this install is appreciated! :)

Take your time removing the door panel, those damn hooks break every time. Also those wood inserts are just held in with plastic dowels that protrude thought the door panel on the back side and just have a small clip/retainer holding them on, again take your time, those things will break off. Keep in mind there is a long screw behind the light lens and an 8mm bolt behind a cover under the door handle that have to be removed before you can start lifting up.

Do you have a GOOD steering wheel puller? There are plastic covers on the side of the steering wheel that need to come off with a screw driver then there are two 8mm bolts holding the air bag on. For safety I would disconnect the battery before removing the air bag though.

Next there are 2 plastic electrical connectors one for the air bag and the other for the cruise control, un-clip those and remove the grounds with a screw driver. You will have to transfer the CC switches over to the new wheel but it's fairly intuitive.

Next get a hold of an alen socket set to remove the main retaining bolt from the wheel, sometimes a regular alen wrench will work but its hard to get any torque. Grab you puller, thread it in and the wheel should slid off once you start ratcheting. Might have to spray some Kroil on the threads to help it come off.

New wheel should slide back on and do everything in reverse order, should only take 30 min to do the steering wheel.

Thanks for the advice, Eric! It came in handy

Here's the end result! I am sending Alexander the stock shift knob to have him make one out of red wood for me today. Too bad he does not make the wood trim piece around the radio and shifter, or that would be done too.

Cool. Those seats look comfy as heck with the extra sides and legs. They always said in a 1st gen you sit on the seats, and a 2nd gen, you sit IN the seats. You'll really be IN the seats with those.

Good idea Eric! I need to see if there is a local shop that can do it.

I am really looking forward to the seats, Jeff. The seats in John Temple's car are really nice.
