IRS differential mounts

Does anyone know of a good set of mounts to eliminate NVH levels and has anyone needed a pinion angle adjuster after a gear and T/L I am still having vibration issues after my gear swap after 60 MPH.

I am still running a 93 driveshaft I had the differential checked and they replaced all the bearings rebalanced the driveshaft and still have the same problem. I told them I was going to buy a new driveshaft and they told me it wasn't the driveshaft . After 3 weeks in the shop picked up the car with the same problem no bill because he said they don't know what is causing the vibration. They had it on a lift felt it but couldn't see it with the wheels spinning. The vibration starts at about 40 MPH and increases with speed vibrating the rearview mirror so violently I can't even see what's in back of me . I did not have this problem before the driveshaft and gear swap, I have to much money invested to go back to 3.27s . Is pinion angle a possible problem ?

Is it possible you threw a wheel weight?

It took the shop three tries to get my tires balanced to my satisfaction..

Not all 93 drive shafts are able to balance, did you try clocking it on the pinion flange?

Factory bushings are going to be your best bet against NVH, all others will increase it.

Are all 93 drive shafts egg shaped or am I just the lucky one to buy one that is.

The one thing your shop most deinetly will not understand is how sensitive this car is to vibration. remember that a stock car experiences noticable vibrations at about 75-80mph. Gears with no other mods such as better drive shaft will simply lower the speed at which you see vibrations.

Another question is to find out what speed your drive shaft shop balances at. Not all will balance at 5000-6000 RPM which what you want. The first time I had a 93 shaft rebuilt and balanced I found out the guy balanced it at 2400 rpm when I picked it up. When I asked why not 6000rpm he was like..."you don't need that unless you are drag racing or something like that." Naturally my response was....."Well duh!". He said his ballancer only goes to 2400 and is just for regular cars and trucks which don't need a high RPM balance. I did not blame him since I did not ask up front and did not understand there are ballancer differences. I have since located a shop that does racing and high RPM (24,000) applications. I eventually just bought a MMX drive shaft from Jeremi which did the trick. I get no vibes even at 90mph with 4:10's.

Pinion angle did not change.. its not the problem, your 93 shaft is fubar buy a good drive shaft.
No problem...changed gears shaft....now you have problem , go back to what you changed to find the problem.
As you go to a deeper gear it changes the rpm of the shaft to a higher rpm hence the vibration problem.

Ask the shop what rpm did they balance the shaft? 93 shafts are a hit and miss deal.

You beat me too it Dog

I believe it was our noble president Driller, who told me "That Dynotech shaft will fix vibrations you didn't even know you had."

I suspect you'll be pleased.

I bought this one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/170993306357?item=170993306357&viewitem=&vxp=mtr) in spring and John was really helpful to get this piece shipped to Germany. After installation the "hopping" is nearly gone. Some vibration from the tyres, which are really hard to balance. Now I hear some drone from the rear and, seems to be the differential. But this only starts at about 110mph. Everything else is fine with the new drive sharft. I can really recommend this one.

I bought a 93 driveshaft and had it balanced. I was told it had a vibration at 2500rpm± but was balanced with a weight and was good up the tested 6000rpm. In my own limited experience I found two 93 driveshafts at the junkyard that were damaged by what looked like a fork lift.
