RE: Is this anal? (capitalize ANAL!)

What Art said. ??

BTW, Tony I know my parking behavior is a holdover from an old van that always revved waaay too fast. Every time I'd change directions, KABANG! I figure whatever (bad) was happening to that van is happening to every vehicle to some lesser degree. Anyway, something happens to people when we get old. Instead of thinking about how much SMOKE we can get off the tires we start thinking about how many MILES we can get off them. Sad, I know. :(

Are you the guy that always says; "I never make fun of handicapped people.......if it wasn't for them I wouldn't get such good parking spaces."?

No Barry, I wish that I didn't need the handicrippled parking but one of the reasons that I bought the Mark VIII a year and a half ago, is that I was able to get my mobility scooter into the trunk and still have room for a loaf of bread, a 12 pack, and a dozzen eggs. Now this year I'm working with my Dr. and I've gotten to the place where most of the time all I need is a cane. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!! I still keep the mobility scooter for car shows and the like. I am not able to do more than about 500 steps a day now, so thanks to the Mark I am able to get to most of the car functions that I want to be at.

I am the one that you hear screaming all the way from Arizona, when I see some kid take the only handicapped space left, just because they have grandpa's car and are toooooooo lazy to walk to the store. Most times when that happens I just put off what I was going to get to an early morning jaunt. I have a very low tolerance for handicapped cheaters.

Definately anal. I will try and avoid backing up in parking lots because I believe most fender benders happen when one or more of people involved are backing up or pulling away from the curb. I have heard from everybody I know that I am anal and your thinking certainly exceeds the depths I have gone.
