The castle nut on the outer tie rod balljoint is 19mm or 3/4.
The counter nut on the inner tie rod against the outer is 21mm.

You have a very good friend. :D

I'm not entirely sure I approve of their selection of "metric" wrenches, but under the circumstances, I don't think I'd complain much..

I had my first friend (He work at XL part) drop the part off and my second friend bought some tools.

He had more tools but there was a ant pile next to the car so we moved everything.

I'm curious, how did the nut fall off? You say the cotter pin was still there?

Also, did you mean to title this thread: It's allow something? Or was that a mixed up spell check?

I dont know. The ball joint thread was stripped. Looked like the nut just slipped off.

The title was just a statement.

And a small fire under the hood. It's allow something!!!

I dont know how this started. I replaced the starter, went for a test drive, car started to shut off and turn back on and this happen.

I dont know what to check for. I put the ground back on and it sparks. I remove one of the Positive wire (red wire that is melted) and no more sparks.
Bad starter?

Sure looks like a short somewhere.

Since you were just at the starter, I would look there first. But you really need to unwrap the loom and inspect the wiring to replace the burn't wires.

Look like I forget to connect the ground wire on the starter. IDK.

Found the problem and fixed it.

I added 4 layer of heat shrink tubing to the wire and rotated the cable.

Took the car out last night and she running again.

Yep, I can see that being a problem! A little bit of motor torque reaction must have shorted the positive wire to the subframe.
I will need to replace 5 inches of the wire from the battery to the starter. Just waiting for the 4 awg welding cable.
