LMS 3 Piece Gen 1 Wing---Gauging interest !!!

Alright so here it is:
As you all know the coveted LMS 3 piece rear wing for the gen 1 mark 8's is no longer being made; pressumably due to a lack of interest. Anyone that is unfamiliar with what the LMS 3 piece rear wing is exactly need not read further, lol.
So I want to know who would want one of the wings; under these conditions !
From what I gather by reading previous posts and talking to Geno people are all talk and no action ! So these would be the terms:

-1-orders would have to be prepaid in full(no exception) with a possible wait time of 2 months (give or take)

-2-money talks so lets say around $500 for each wing

That's basically it, so let me know who's interested or what not-under these terms only. I am looking to get at least a minumum of 25 people here that are willing to agree to the above terms and then go to Geno with the results. Please do not post useless stuff because I believe that with the $$$ and the pre-orders that this is possible period...

Good luck! Geno tried doing a group purchase type thing before, i don't know if he was able to pull it off or not.

I'm in. I want one really bad. I do have one BIG however. I'm leaving for Afghanistan on Friday. I will not be here until October sometime. I AM good for the $$$. I actually spoke to Geno about the wing and he told me the same thing...not enough interest to justify the cost. I know you stated NO EXCEPTIONS, but I need one! A war puts a kink in this plan for me. I can't stress this enough....I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll gladly pay you Tuesday (Oct ?) for a 3 piece LMS wing....sometime!

I think the price to begin with was the problem. Well, that is the only reason I didn't do it. I realize it is expensive when it comes to a special order, but the price should be affordabe to tingle someone impulse buy nerve.

I agree, I'd love to get the wing but I'm not sure about the price. Maybe about $350. You have to think that it still has to be installed and painted.

What did these things cost two years ago? I'm not sure thats why I put around $500, let me know what they cost--I think we need to bump it up alittle just to entice the maker--
You guys are right $500 is expensive, but in my opinion worth it for unquestionably the best looking wing for a Gen 1 Mark 8. So someone post what the original price was and we'll go from there. I think everyone would agree that alittle bump in price would help to get things rollin....Hey in my opinion the lower the better lol...

Ok the original price of the wing was $289 for non lod members and probably around $269 or so for memebers. So lets say a price of around $325 for the wing ! Sounds better lol ! That's seems like a decent incentive to do it from my perspective so sorry to scare some away at first-you have to inform me of things lol... So let me know what we are working with here...
$325 for the wing would be the offer made to Geno at LMS

I hope I'm wrong with this.....but I don't think Geno would want to even do this. It will be amazing if you could get 25 orders first of all. And the cost for a retool and production, he won't make anything on these. No one works for free. I sure as hell hope I'm wrong, it would be great to see this get off the ground again. Good luck, I think it's definitely needed.

I hope he goes for it. I got into the Marks a bit later than most of you here. I could bet you that "Geelove" will buy one also. He would respond to this, but he is already in Afghanistan waiting for me. Come on Geno, I can't keep this photoshopped wing on my car with out really having one!!! I'll be 40 in a couple weeks, I need cool points!!!

Again please do not go on in long posts about it be amazing if I could get Geno to do this! I am not looking for information and all that about this, believe me I think we all know that enough has been covered on this before and I could go into the archives for that! SO please when you post only post saying that you would be in, if so for how many, and that you would be in on the terms posted keeping in mind that the price has been ammended to $325...

OK guys we have been thru this before and i have spoke w/ geno, ask him what need to get this going. you can email him as much as yall want but he wont make them.
1- no glass man to make them,
2- he will lose money making them in a small qty, but maybe geno will go to a glass class and learn how to do this himself, , but this subjet is dead till geno says otherwise. fyi the cost of the wings run for 300.

Okay, heres the deal.Geno could not find a guy that would do a small enough quantity for a good enough price.I dont remember what the numbers were but we wanted to built 5-10 at a time and they wouldn't do that few.
I have a guy out here that could build them but it would require Geno to send me the mold.Scott was not comfortable doing that.So he offered to sell me the mold.I couldnt afford to spend that much money and not know if I would get it back.

So where does that leave us?

If you guys get enough people/money together and Geno still does not/will not do it, I can get them built.I could take the deposits and buy the mold from Scott and pay my guy here to build them.

I want this to be considered a last chance scenario though.I really dont have the time to take on a project like this but I know how much you guys want it.

I'm in for one of these wings. I would gladly pay the $500 for one, if we can just get them built! Yeah, I know, $325 would be a better price, but whatever it takes to get them built, let's get it done.

With one on my Mark, to show off to others here in town, there might be one or two more orders...

This is what it is going to take people who want them to put away all previous undertakings and commit to this one--notice Unstoppable's post!! This will get done so anyone intested jump on the wagon here as I am expecting that if this gets done at the high order number it will be-it will be that last and final run!!!
