LOD Carlisle Dash Plaque

Like most folks here, I probably have dozens of dash plaques from car shows over the years. One of these days, I might have them framed but for now they remain in waiting, put away in a stack like baseball cards.

To be honest the handsome 2013 LOD Ford Carlisle Nationals plaque is the only one I would actually use for its purpose. I like the fact that it's dark, and won't be prone to reflect in the windshield since I would probably locate it on the top of the dash.

So...what's the best way to affix without leaving a mark if I want to remove later (for a newer one)?

Duct tape? Scotch tape? Bailing wire? Hmmm.

Probably the best thing is one of those dash pad sticky mats used to "hold" your cell phone on the dash. Cut it smaller than the dash plaque and place it where you want and lightly press the plaque over it.

You could use Velcro dots. Buy the low adhesion type as they can be easily removed later and any residual adhesive can easily be cleaned away.

Both are good ideas. I already have one of those cell phone holder thingies but don't use it. I'll check it out. Thanks.
