I've got a couple factory double-din stereos, if you want one. No wiring though...
Hmm.. if the price is right.. which also makes me wonder if one would be a "drop in" on a '97 F-150. the on/off switch on the one in Dad's pickup is flaky.

If I get my old one from Jeremi whilst I'm there I'll bring it and you can have it. Unless he disposed of it, of course

This just keeps getting better and batter. I like free, and Jay knows that my covering shipping is a given.

I'd imagine that you won't make it to Carlisle Jay, but we'll have to talk soon. the box is already in the trunk, and ready to go.

Mike, I came across this today on CEPro.com and I thought you'd get a laugh...

I'm glad you built a Lincoln of a DIY boombox. :D

oh, that's awesome.

I particularly like the use of a computer power supply to operate the car stereo.

Leather Lincoln upholstery would really give this a nice finished look with Lincoln style! Also, a back lit Lincoln symbol badge would be really cool too!! Very nice though! Cool idea!

I keep thinking that if I ever get around to scrapping my '86, this thing will be getting a hood ornament.

I seriously considered the idea of doing a "piano black" finish on it, but it seemed pretty time intensive. And in the end, I'd still be bolting the speakers back on top of it.. I do like the "Soft Corinthian Leather" idea.

I also considered going the lazy route and simply slathering it in stickers...
