This may be a dumb question, but why didn't Steve have Geno work on his car??? Has Steve posted anything about what happened, if so could somebody post the link? I raced a couple of times with Steve at ATCO and E-Town.

Steves in Chi town and Geno is in The arm pit of Jersey.
He was going to ship it to me after they had it for a few months, but it ecame cost prohibitive.He needed a car to get to work so he bought the new one.

The car was actually blowing compressed air out of the vacuum ports on the intake manifold.And they tried to tell him it was from porting the intake manifold.LOL

They had the cams out of time.The intake valve was open during the compression.Hence it blowing the compression out of the intake ports.They wouldn't believe me.And said they had it correct.

Oh well.

Holy cow I didn't know that. That sucks. He went trough all that and never even got to turn the key. who were these guys? I remember him talking about how he got a great deal on installation. You would think he would bring it to someone who had experience with 4v motors. I guess you get what you pay for. It his getting any money back from these guys? I haven't seen him post about the car being parted out. did he get rid of the heads and cams yet? By the way the WS6 is awesome. one of my favorite cars. If I ever do sell mine and decide to buy another car it WILL be a WS6. Now that's a fast car.

The cams were stockers.
The heads are coming back to vegas.My friend torrey knows the quality of work that went into them and snapped them up.

I'm glad to see I'm not forgotten :) All is well. The Mark is getting an engine installed as we speak and will be fairly close to stock shortly ready for sale.

The WS6 was down for a period of time due to an engine issue. GM replaced my engine with a brand new one and also paid me two months worth of car payments for my trouble :)

The car will be going to a shop that specializes in LS1 Corvettes. and Camaro/Firebirds. I will be getting mostly suspension work done. springs,shocks,sway bars, sub frame connectors,, strut tower brace, and free flowing air-lid :7

When I come back are we going back to that place?Torrey still has a bone to pick with that girl.LOL
