Mustang springs

Has anyone ever tried using Mustang Springs? Front or rear. I have coilovers conversions and the springs are universal on the end. The only difference would be installed height vs regular height also suspension travel. As most people who have done the coilover conversion no the springs are sloppy to say the least. On a second note anyone looking to change to a traction lock Mustang unlimited has the 8.8 inch 28 spline unit for 200 and $19.

The shocks are the problem, not the springs. But to answer your question, they are not a direct fit in the front , and would involve welding on the shock assembly, which is obviously a no no.

What do you refer not a direct fit as? what do you mean for not a direct? I have aftermarket coilovers but they're not strutmasters. I'm not sure who made them as the previous owner had put them in the springs are black the rest of the assembly silver aluminum as I know the strutmasters use Red Springs. When I was looking into new shocks I told the guy I was interested in a lower look and he suggested getting a pair of Mustang springs.
